Terms of Use
Beta • Version 2026-08-13.v1
These terms cover the beta. They are short and written in plain language, and they will be replaced by full terms before general availability.
We are not claiming legal certification or compliance with the law of every country this product can be reached from. This is a small beta being run honestly, not an enterprise service with a compliance department.
What this service is
Independent practice software for spoken English. It simulates an IELTS-style speaking conversation and returns estimated practice feedback so you can rehearse before a real exam.
This is an AI-generated practice simulation, not an official IELTS test.
The examiner is an animated avatar with a synthetic voice. You are not speaking to a person, and nobody is listening live.
Trademarks and non-affiliation
This is independent practice software. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by British Council, IDP Education, or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Any band estimates are for practice only and are not official IELTS results.
“IELTS” and any other test names are trademarks of their respective owners. We refer to them descriptively, to explain the format this tool practises. That reference does not imply any partnership, endorsement, licence, or approval. We do not reproduce official test material, and all practice prompts are original.
Feedback is an estimate, not a result
Feedback is an estimate for practice and does not guarantee an IELTS score.
Any band figure this product produces is an estimate generated by software for practice purposes. It is not an official result, it has no standing with any test provider, institution, employer or immigration authority, and it does not predict your actual exam outcome. We do not guarantee any score, improvement, admission, visa or other result.
Credits and payment
Practice is paid for in credits. One credit is one started minute of live video, rounded up— a session that runs for four minutes and ten seconds costs five credits.
- Credits are held when a session starts and settled from the actual time the video ran. If a session fails before the examiner appears, the hold is returned.
- Subscription credits are granted each billing cycle. They do not accumulate indefinitely; unused credits roll over one cycle.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not redeemable for money.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period, and credits already granted remain usable until they expire.
- If we take money in error, or a session fails through our fault and credits are consumed, write to us and we will put it right.
Beta expectations
This is early software. Sessions may fail, features may change or disappear, and the service may be unavailable without notice. Waitlist entry is not a guarantee of access — we invite testers selectively.
Acceptable use
Use the service for your own practice. Do not attempt to disrupt it, reverse it, resell it, or use it to record other people without their knowledge.
Not advice
This product is a language-practice tool. It is not a diagnostic, medical, psychological, educational-placement, immigration or employment service, and it must not be used to make decisions about any person.
